Tailored webinars offered for diverse industry sectors
Between June and August 2021, the Department for Education and SDN are hosting several webinars for employers to give them the information that they need to enable them to develop their workforce through industry work placements
Each session will give you a chance to hear from employers who are already hosting placements and explores how industry placement students might contribute to your workforce development in the current circumstances, and the support now available
Webinars cover a range of industry sectors on the following dates:
• Introduction to industry placements - supporting your workforce development (30 June & 29 July)
• Hosting industry placements in customer-facing workplaces (21 June)
• Hosting industry placements in agriculture, environmental and animal care workplaces (8 July)
• Industry placements for hair and beauty roles (24 August)
• Industry placements for catering roles (25 August)
