Action Plan for Improving Access to Inclusive Business Financing

The APPG for Ethnic Minority Business Owners is pleased to announce the launch of the Ethnic Minority Business Finance Review which is an exciting new initiative that aims to create an action plan for change. Its man objective is to find sustainable solutions to the barriers that Ethnic Minority Business Owners face in accessing the financial services and the investment that they need in order to power up and grow their enterprises.


The Review is being chaired by high profile successful business man and TV personality Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones MBE AKA the ‘The Black Farmer.


The Review will be a collaboration between representatives from Ethnic Minority business communities and the financial services industry. The project is being convened and supported by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Ethnic Minority Business Owners. The APPG is being chaired by Sir Peter Bottomley MP and co-chairs Sarah Olney MP and Abena Oppong-Asare MP with cross-party support. The Review is supported by a working group of APPG members including Deputy Chair - Asha Lad - Conduit Capital - Chief Investment Officer, Diana Chrouch OBE, Claudine Reid MBE, Patricia Hamzahee, Shari Leigh, Joanne Anderson and Irfan Qadir.
